Reagan and I spent Memorial Day weekend in Shreveport to visit my grandmother. We were joined by Jacy and Dustin (driving from Birmingham, AL), as well as my dad and Carolyn who were in town for a wedding. The weekend consisted of 45 holes of golf for the guys, gambling at the El Dorado casino, and lots of food. Reagan was pleased to shoot 66-72, and Dustin played well also. I was not so lucky at the casino, but Jacy won $400 on Keno. Jacy and I challenged Reagan and Dustin to eat the pounder burger at Cheeburger Cheeburger to get their picture on the wall. Dustin finished with no problem, but Reagan struggled since he had a milkshake before his burger came. But in the end he finished like a champ. Both guys got their lovely picture on the wall.
We got up early Monday morning and headed back to Houston . We spent the afternoon at our apartment pool. This concludes our weekend trips for a while. I’m so excited to get to spend some weekends at home with friends.
